iPod, uPod, we all pod for iPod

Wednesday, September 7, 2005

Amidst all the hubbub surrounding Apple’s new iPod nano (wtf? how small can they get?) and the iTunes phone, this small bit of news excites me even more: iTunes 5.0 finally has nested playlists in folders!  My prayers have been answered.  I had my fingers crossed that this would be a feature added in the latest version of the program, but I had my doubts.  Finally, I can tame my countless unwieldy playlists.

Also, I predict it won’t be long before the regular iPod also comes in black.

So, how does this work? I downloaded the new iTunes but I can’t figure it out. Please explain nested playlists!!!

Tom says:

Unfortunately, the nested playlists don’t work in the Ipod itself yet.

Is there any schedule or even rumor about when Apple will rollout nested playlists in the iPod? I need them desparately.
