Free Comic Book Day (May 5th) is fast approaching, and to help promote the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, Chris Butcher has put together one tasty-looking book: Comics Festival 2007. In addition to the swank double cover by Bryan Lee O’Malley and Darwyn Cooke, check out the impressive lineup of artists who have new, original full-colour work featured in the book—including some schlub named John Martz!
I’m thrilled to be a part of the book, and have work printed alongside everyone involved. The book is absolutely free, and will be available in comic shops everywhere May 5. But note that not every retailer orders the same selection for Free Comic Book Day, so check with them first to be sure they’ll have it!

I’m not sure at this point. I imagine the Beguiling may have some sort of event, but I don’t really know with any certainty. Either way, I’ll be at TCAF hocking minicomics of some sort I’m sure.
